In support of a detailed planning application for the redevelopment of the former Crawley Leisure Centre, HDA prepared a Landscape and Visual Assessment of the proposals; provided detailed input into the design statement for the scheme, and attended the public exhibitions.
The detailed work involved the production of an overall landscape analysis of the site, character/sketch designs, an overall landscape Master Plan, providing landscape and design input into the proposed home zones and a written statement detailing the overall landscape strategy. Planning permission was granted in April 2006.
