Moira is a co-founder of Hankinson Duckett Associates and previously acted as company chairman. Moira now leads a substantial number of projects across the country, including representations to and support of local plans, structure plans and local mineral plans at Inquiry. Moira's experience of landscape and visual appraisal extends over a wide variety of projects and has included representation as expert witness to major planning inquiries.
Moira has contributed to the Landscape and Visual Assessment section of the Handbook of Environmental Impact Assessment, a two volume international collaboration published by Blackwells Scientific. Moira is a Fellow of the Landscape Institute and has been an external examiner at Leeds Metropolitan and Newcastle Universities.
