SHOULD RENEWABLE ENERGY SUPERSEDE LANDSCAPE ISSUES?

The London Array in the Thames Estuary would be the biggest wind farm in Europe - and has recently been approved by the government.

However, Swale Borough Council considered that its transformer station, prominently located overlooking undeveloped coast, was in the wrong place.

HDA supported Swale's case at inquiry... the 'normal' land-based uses should be subject to 'normal' landscape constraints.
