HDA was appointed to prepare a management plan for 40ha of land at Fleet, Hampshire, in association with proposals for residential development.
The site is currently dominated by arable fields and pasture but is crossed by a number of hedges and small watercourses, it also includes areas of scrub and swamp, together with a small copse and pond.
HDA undertook a desk study and an intensive site appraisal to identify key land use constraints and opportunities. The management plan for the site contains a review of the policy context, a detailed site description, masterplan and a set of management objectives.
