HDA has been appointed to provide landscape and ecological services for guest facilities at a Listed country house hotel overlooking the River Thames. The site has a complex history and incorporates part of a prehistoric hillfort. The hotel is set within an early twentieth century Italianate garden, which includes Listed features, such as a stone fountain and terracing.
As well as researching the site's landscape history, the HDA team are preparing a landscape master plan and a visual assessment of the proposals, with ecological surveys and woodland management strategies informing the design.
