HDA are landscape and ecological advisers on two alternative redevelopment schemes to a former brickworks in Surrey.
Local consultation has identified a strong preference for redevelopment for housing; planning policy tends to favour commercial redevelopment.
HDA has designed the landscape restoration proposals for the former brickworks building area and for the clay pit, now a lake. We are also assessing the site for potential bat roosts and preparing a management plan to enhance the site's ecological interest.
