HDA have worked closely with Engineers from Halcrow to develop an environmentally sensitive flood defence scheme on behalf of the Environment Agency for the Quaggy River.
HDA has ensured that significant environmental objections are avoided and provided innovative design solutions to prevent flooding of buildings. Environmental enhancement has formed an integral part of the project. HDA assisted Halcrow in the production of the tender documents providing costings for the landscape works, planting plans, detailed specification drawings and specification documentation for the contract.
