PLANNING SUCCESS FOR
SEED-GROWING COMPANY
A specialist seed-growing company was seeking to extend its greenhouses in the Metropolitan Green Belt in Surrey. Although agricultural uses are appropriate in the Green Belt, this application was refused, because of its effect on openness.
HDA provided landscape evidence for the appeal, demonstrating that, with planting and tree management, the visual impact of greenhouses at the site could be reduced. The Inspector agreed with this evidence and permitted the scheme.
