Dan is an ecological and arboricultural consultant with over 20 years experience in the environmental field, spanning public and private sectors. As well as extensive experience in EcIA and specialist ecological surveys, Dan has a particular interest in habitat creation and restoration.
Dan combines his passion for ecology and conservation with an international development background. Between UK based work, Dan has spent time involved in overseas work and research, including ecotourism and protected areas management in Northern Pakistan, radio tracking near extinct birds in Mauritius, and working with community groups towards sustainable management of Nepal's forests.
Outside of work, he further indulges his love of the outdoors by cramming in as much climbing, mountaineering, cycling, or cricket as he can.
