HDA is preparing an LVIA for inclusion within an Environmental Statement for the continuation of extraction at a quarry in the Yorkshire Dales, as well as preparing proposals for it’s eventual restoration.
The quarry has been active for over two centuries, with the quarry manager‘s grandfather having worked at the quarry.The quarry will be sensitively restored to reflect the surrounding landscape character, but reminders of the past activities of this working landscape and the people that lived and worked here, will be retained as part of the local landscape character.
