Anna joined the HDA ecology team in 2009 to help carry out a full range of habitat and species surveys, development of mitigation strategies and other assessments.
Anna's past life included digging paths and felling trees with a chainsaw. Since opting for a safer line of work she has had experience of a wide range of habitat and protected species surveys including bats, reptiles, badgers, otters and water voles.
Anna has done her fair share of night-time survey work and has been up close and personal with literally thousands of great crested newts.
